Gladstone Celebrates is an event held annually to recognize individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to Gladstone’s community and outstanding scientific achievements.
This year, we added two new awards—the Diversity Champion Award and the Outstanding Mentoring Award—that align with our values and strategic plan.

Each recipient is awarded a personalized plaque as a lasting reminder of their contributions to Gladstone and the larger scientific community.
Distinguished Achievement in Scientific Leadership
Gladstone President Deepak Srivastava, MD, kicks off the event with the Distinguished Achievement in Scientific Leadership Awards. These awards recognize exceptionally original and creative achievements that are particularly enabling and likely to advance science or medicine.

Robert and Linda Mahley Career Advancement Awards
President Deepak Srivastava takes the podium for the presentation of the Robert and Linda Mahley Career Advancement Award. Recipients are each given a stipend to support the advancement of their career through attending important and impactful scientific conferences. In 2019, these awards were renamed in honor of Robert and Linda Mahley, who have spent the last 40 years dedicated to the professional and career development of all our trainees.

Diversity Champion Award
