Bowser is best known for his his monstrous appearance, full-throated roar, fire-breathing abilities, cruel personality, reptilian voice, and never-ending conflict with Mario and his unrequited crush for Peach.
Daisy
Daisy is the cousin of Princess Peach. She is a tomboy and in accompaniment to her name, she has an affinity for flowers. Her attire, special abilities, personal emblems, and general representations are often flowers, as well.
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong, also known simply as DK, D.K., or D. Kong is powerful, yet carefree Kong from Donkey Kong Island. He spends his days collecting bananas and spending time with his friends, particularly his best friend Diddy Kong.
Koopa Troopa
Koopa Troopas are anthropomorphic turtle-like creatures with removable shells that come in many different colours, with red and green Koopa Troopas being the most common! They're common enemies in the Mario franchise, and are usually the foot soldiers under direct leadership of Bowser!
Luigi
Luigi is Mario's slightly younger, taller fraternal twin brother. Throughout his life, he has lived in Mario's shadow, developing both cowardly and heroic tendencies. Despite this, Luigi has helped and fought alongside his brother on many occasions.
Mario
Mario is known for his red hat, thick moustache, Italian accent and cheerful personality. He is the hero that goes on adventures to save Princess Peach from his arch-nemesis, Bowser, and will often have fun with his twin brother, Luigi, either racing or doing other sports.
Princess Peach
Princess Peach is the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, residing in her castle with many Toads who act as her loyal servants. Her kingdom is often attached by the Koopa Troop, a group led by Bowser. She is the love interest of Mario, and has an affinity for the colour pink which accents her gentle personality and kind temperament.
Shy Guy
Shy Guys are common enemies in the Mario franchise. They come in a variety of colours but are recognisable due to wearing masks, which they wear due to their shyness.
Toad
Toad is Princess Peach's attendant and longtime protector of Mushroom Kingdom. His defining traits are his cartoonish and cutesy appearance, his optimism and humble nature.
Toadette
Toadette is known for her bouncing pigtails, cheerful and energetic personality and occasional bursts of creativity. She's also good friends with Princess Peach, Toad, and Mario!
Waluigi
Waluigi is Luigi's lanky rival and Wario's partner. He's defined by his purple cap, nasally Italian accent, long handlebar moustache, and his rude and trickster personality. In his rivalry with Luigi he often tends to cheat!
Wario
Wario is an arch rival of Mario. He's muscular, hot-tempered and greedy! His defining traits are his yellow cap and purple overalls. Wario is also unintelligent, greedy, reckless and has an insatiable appetite for garlic.
Yoshi
Yoshi is a dinosaur who is an ally of Mario and Luigi. He's cute, cheerful, and friendly. He also has great flutter-jumping and egg-laying abilities, and is great at exclaiming his own name!
