Pakistan Super League (PSL, Urdu: پاکستان سوپر لیگ‎‎) is a men's professional Twenty20 cricket league, sanctioned by the Pakistan Cricket Board, that represents the sport's highest level in Pakistan. The league was founded in Lahore on 8 September 2015 and presently comprises 6 teams. Instead of operating as an association of independently owned teams, the league is a single entity in which each franchise is owned and controlled by investors. The commercial rights to the initial franchises were sold for US$93 million for a span of 10 years in December 2015. The PSL season runs between the months of February and March, with each team playing 10 matches in double round robin format; the top 4 teams with the best record qualify for the Playoffs and culminates in the championship game, the PSL Cup Final. The league's head offices are directed out of the Pakistan Cricket Board head office in Lahore. Due to the security reasons, the first season was played entirely in the United Arab Emirates. The inaugural champions were Islamabad United. Peshawar Zalmi are the 2017 PSL Champions, having defeated Quetta Gladiators in Lahore on 5 March 2017.

Multan Sultan
Multan Sultans (Urdu, Saraiki/Punjabi: ملتان سلطانز‎) is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team. The team is nominally based in Multan, and was formed in 2017 to compete in the third season of Pakistan Super League. Multan Cricket Stadium is the team's home ground with a capacity of 35,000. The team is currently captained by Shoaib Malik and coached by Tom Moody. Wasim Akram is the team's director and bowling coach while Nadeem Khan is the team's manager.

Lahore Qalandars (Urdu: لاہور قلندرز‎‎; Punjabi: لہور قلندرز‎; acronym LQ) is a Pakistani professional cricket franchise which plays in the Pakistan Super League.The Home ground of the team is Gaddafi Stadium.It nominally represents the city of Lahoreand the province Punjab in the league.The team is owned by Qatar Lubricants Company Limited (QALCO).The team is currently captained by Brendon McCullum and coached by Paddy Upton, a former South African cricketer. Lahore Qalandars was the second most expensive franchise and was one of the few teams sold to an international company. 

Umar Akmal is the leading run-scorer and Sunil Narine is the leading wicket-taker for the side.

Quetta Gladiators (Urdu/Balochi: کوئٹہ گلیڈی ایٹرز‎‎; Pashto: د کوېټې گليډئيټرز‎) is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 cricketfranchise that competes in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The team is nominally based in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, Pakistan. The franchise was established in 2015 as a result of the formation of the PSL by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and is owned by Omar Associates. Team's Homeground is Ayub National Stadium. The team is captained by Pakistani skipper Sarfraz Ahmed and coached by former Pakistani wicketkeeper Moin Khan while West Indian legend Viv Richards is team's mentor and batting coach and Azam Khan is team's manager.Abdul Razzaqis team's Assistant coach

Peshawar Zalmi

Peshawar Zalmi (Pashto: پېښور زلمي‎; Urdu: پشاور زلمی‎‎; lit. "Peshawar Youth") is a Pakistani franchise T20 cricket team which plays in the Pakistan Super League and represents Peshawar, capital city of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is owned by Javed Afridi of Haier Pakistan, who also owns the Benoni Zalmi franchise in the T20 Global League of South Africa. The team is based in Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, Pakistan.The team was formed in 2015, as a result of the formation of the Pakistan Super League by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).Team's home ground is National Stadium.The team is currently captained by Imad Wasim and coached by Mickey Arthur a former South African cricketer. It is owned by Salman Iqbal, the CEO of ARY Group. Rashid Latif was appointed as the Director of Cricket Operations on 26 September 2016  In April 2017, Shahid Afridi became the President of the Kings.

Islamabad United (Urdu: اسلام‌آباد یونائیٹڈ‎‎) is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team that competes in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The team is nominally based in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan and was formed in 2015 to compete in the first season of the Pakistan Super League. The franchise is owned by Leonine Global Investments through its sports entity Leonine Global Sports.The franchise won the first PSL title, defeating Quetta Gladiators in the final.

Team's Homeground is Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.The team is currently captained by Pakistan's most successful test captain Misbah-ul-Haq and coached by former Australian player Dean Jones. The team director is former Pakistani fast bowler Waqar Younis while Saeed Ajmal is spin bowling coach.
