At more than 40km/h over the limit you can have your licence immediately suspended for 28 days.

At more than 50km/h over you can also be charged with careless, dangerous or reckless driving as well as having your licence suspended.

You also get 50 demerit points for exceeding the limit by more than 35km/h, plus you will get a fine of $510 for 41-45km/h or $630 for 46-50km/h above the limit.
