Should you put a picture of yourself on your podcast cover art?
This quiz will determine, once and for all, whether or not you need to include yourself on your podcast cover art. Best of luck!
Do you WANT your face / photo to be on your cover art?
Possibly the most important question.
Do you currently have quality headshots or images you'd want to use? Or have plans to acquire such shots?
Does your show ladder up to a business or something you are known for?
If your show features you and a guest, is it more of a chat or an interview show?
Have your friends told you that you should put yourself on your cover art?
Are you famous (either in general or in a specific circle in which facial recognition is important to you)?
Is there an element, a drawing, a symbol, a subtitle, a piece of art, or bold lettering that might be helpful for your listeners when it comes to understanding your show's focus?
Example: if your show serves a very niche industry, what's a symbol those in the know would immediately grasp?
If you're in the medical field, can you show that in some way that isn't a person in a lab coat?
Is your show self-titled?
