You might think it would be HEALING or MIRACLES.

IT'S NOT!

It was a WORD OF WISDOM.

The Bible says,

"Wisdom is the principle thing. Therefore get wisdom!"

Proverbs 4:7

Though no Gift of the Spirit has greater value over another, the numerical frequency of particular Gifts in the recorded life of Jesus also provides a pattern for His followers.

Jesus manifestated certain Gifts more than others, and so will we.

Out of the 199 events in the life of Jesus recorded in the Gospels, below are the percentages for each Gift of the Spirit Jesus moved in.

Word of Wisdom = 65%

Prophecy = 33%

Word of Knowledge = 32%

Gifts of Healing = 18%

Discerning of Spirits = 15%

Faith = 9%

Working of Miracles = 7%

Once we become aware of God's presence in our lives, many Christians would say they experienced the Gifts of the Spirit similarly to the percentages Jesus modeled above.

WHAT'S the POINT?

We may believe that all Jesus hit were HOME RUNS.

The truth is, just like us, He had far more SINGLES.
