Inclusive vs Particularistic Networking
I am interested in different cultures, beliefs, and experiences
I have a circle of friends I can trust, and that circle is quite stable in terms of membership
I enjoy being among colleagues at work that are different than me in regard of their gender identity, hobbies, political views, ethnicity, culture, etc.
I treat my networking contacts as social capital that I do not thoughtlessly share with anybody I do not know very well
My social circle consists of people from all backgrounds and all walks of life in term of sexuality, gender identity, ethnicity, or political opinion, etc.
I would rather say I feel more comfortable as a member of a clique (a rather stable group of like-minded people) as I find networking with people, I do not know often superficial
My social circle consists of people from many different professional backgrounds
There are not many foreigners in my social circle
I have friends and acquaintances from different socioeconomic backgrounds than my own
Most people I socialize with are like me in terms of professional background, educational level, gender, or ethnicity
I like bringing people together who may enjoy getting to know each other
I find it a bit weird establishing friendships with the other gender
I do not feel in any way connected to people only because we graduated from the same university as me
It is tedious socializing with people I have nothing in common with
I like to proactively connect with people who challenge my way of thinking
I’m not feeling comfortable socializing in another language
You lean towards Inclusive Networking
