Using your left hand, gently cover your left eye so you can only see out of your right eye. Be sure not to apply pressure to your covered eye.

Some glasses already have astigmatism correction and checking them can be a simple way to see if you have astigmatism. In the next step, you'll take your glasses off, hold them halfway between you and the screen, and rotate them while looking at the cross through the lens.
