Wired4IMPACT: Motivational Strength Assessment
Each of us is unique; with a perspective and lived experience all our own. This is wonderful but also offers challenges when others don't see things the way we do. Learning to navigate ourselves in a complex world of unique beings can be challenging. With our Wired 4 Impact course you will explore the 7 key motivational strengths that drive our personalities and impact how we see and understand the world and each other. You will understand yourself more profoundly and have a greater understanding of those around you as well.
To maximize the benefits of this assessment consider this:
1) Give yourself approximately 30 Minutes to complete this assessment.
2) The more honest you are with yourself, the more accurate your results.
3) You are wired for impact! The world needs what is inside of you! Are you ready?
I have a strong conviction of right and wrong in any given situation.
I easily recognize practical needs and desire to meet them.
I present my work in an accurate, logical, and systematic way.
I love to encourage others to live from a growth mindset.
I give generously with my time, money, possessions, energy, and love.
I love to plan and organize the things I am responsible for.
I have a large capacity to show compassion and empathy to others.
I communicate my ideas and plans clearly and thoroughly.
I always look for and find the good in people.
When I give or donate, I prefer to do it anonymously.
I look for audience engagement when I am speaking or presenting.
I validate my own, and others statements to ensure they are factual in content and context.
It is important for things to be neat, organized, and clean.
I tend to look at things as either black or white; no grey or indefinite areas.
I prefer to do manual projects. I excel at things I can do with my hands.
I love to study and do research on topics that interest me.
I trust other peoples research and aim to make things practical and accessible.
I enjoy being part of a vision or mission that is bigger than me.
I am a good judge of character in both individuals and group dynamics.
I do well under pressure and can apply pressure to those under me as well.
I have a strong intuitive read on the emotional states of individuals and groups.
I am not afraid to speak hard truth if it helps people live healthy productive lives.

I prefer to use technical examples rather than anecdotal (stories) examples when making a point.
I love to offer advice and provide next steps for others to grow and step into their potential.
I make decisions using both research and intuition (gut instinct).
I can take a big vision and break it down into smaller steps so we can make it happen.
I tend to be an idealist and struggle with perfectionism.
I have a small select circle of trusted friends.
I find I am moved to respond when I see someone who is going through mental or emotional distress, more than someone in physical distress.
I am a perfectionist when it comes to how things are organized or the way tasks are completed.
I have high expectations of myself and others.
I often feel manipulated or lied to when others withhold information from me.
It is easy for me to be more focused on the task to be done, rather than the people involved.
I struggle with anxiety, especially when it involves relationships or injustices that happen to those I care about.

I am very uncomfortable around conflict or confrontation and will often simply avoid dealing with old problems.

I struggle to make decisions and I do not make them easily or lightly.
I am very persuasive when talking with others. I speak from a strong conviction.
I show love to others by offering to help more than through words.
Words matter to me. I have a large vocabulary, and the correct use of words and their meanings is important to me.
I lose interest in supporting others if I feel they are not putting in the effort to change.
I love to contribute to problem-solving and resourcing good solutions.
I will endure criticism and rude comments because I believe in the big vision or goal.
I can usually detect insincerity or wrong motives in people quickly.
I struggle with my own self-image, and I treat myself worse than anyone else when I mess up.
I am often guilty of neglecting my own or my families needs because I am helping someone else.
I tend to be a stickler for the rules and can get irritated when protocol is not followed correctly.
I catch myself interrupting others in my eagerness to add to the conversation.
I may show favourtism, or manipulate circumstances to get the results I want.
Under pressure, I can regress to using people for the sake of getting things done.
I am vulnerable to depression and mental health struggles.
I am deeply bothered when others make unethical choices or choices that hurt others.
I am hurt when others do not appreciate my contribution and often struggle to see my own self-worth.
I live by strong principles and philosophical ideals, these usually help me solve my problems.
I accept people as they are and I am careful not to judge them.
I am not easily conned, manipulated, or guilt-tripped into taking actions I am not comfortable with.
I manage my time well and can be counted on to get the job done.
I struggle with people pleasing, and will often compromise in order to ensure there is no conflict.
I love to help people grow and develop. Seeing our blind spots is an important part of this growth, even if they are hard to face.
I would prefer not to lead people or projects, I am happy to be a team player.
I am academically skilled, and usually get excellent grades.
I have a consistently positive attitude and I am fun to be around.
I am very entrepreneurial. I love to start new projects, or business ideas and see them through to success.
I write notes to myself and regularly use lists to keep track of things.

I struggle with enabling. I prefer to do a task myself, rather than allow others to look after it.
I am self controlled with both my emotions and my actions and words.

I have lots of innovative ideas and tend to have good success in business ventures.
I am passionate and have lots of energy when I enjoy my work.
I don't tend to take extreme positions, I do not like to judge people or make them feel unwelcome or uncomfortable.
I love to verbalize or dramatize my ideas, theatre and media is a favourite way to express myself.
I care about supporting people practically and often take on other people's problems and worry about them.
I would prefer to be behind the scenes mentoring and training in small groups than in front of a large crowd.
I prefer to work with people over the long term rather than short formal interactions.
I am good with my money and spend the time to find the best value for my dollar. I am good at finding the best deals.
I am comfortable delegating tasks and supervising people.
I feel everything, Not only my own feelings, but the feelings of those around me. I may try to self-medicate to deal with this overwhelm.
I tend to be very introspective and often struggle with anxiety and overthinking.
I love to help others and struggle immensely when others want to help me.
I regularly fact check teachers and leaders to validate if what they are saying is sound.
I do not like when there is tension in relationships, and struggle with people-pleasing because I struggle with the need to be needed.
I feel valued when others depend on me, but that can lead to unhealthy-co-dependent relationships.
I am a very driven person, often neglecting myself and my family's needs.
I will sacrifice my own mental and emotional well being in order to support others.

The shadow side of this strength is that servers can sometimes become petty and easily offended if they feel tasks are neglected or they are taken advantage of or unappreciated.

Empaths make the world both beautiful and bearable. Gifted artists in many forms; empaths highlight and live in the world of feelings like no other strength. They can help others feel loved, cared for, and included and are drawn to hurting individuals. The shadow side of this strength is that empaths often put themselves at the bottom of the "to care for" list and the collateral damage of caring for others coupled with poor boundaries can leave empaths open to be used and abused. This in turn can cause empaths to hold grudges and be vengeful or bitter.
